Position : Design Engineer

Objective : To develop designs, creating prototypes, and ensuring that designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, design software proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification : B.E / Diploma Mechanical

Competencies
• Knowledge of Fabrication design work, Sheet metal & Structured Design work, Drafting
• Required knowledge of paint shop industry
• Experience with 2D & 3D drafting and modeling
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Technical Skills & Knowledge : Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks – 2D 3D, Autodesk)

Relevant Work Experience : Should have minimum 3 – 5 years of experience as a design engineer or related field.

Responsibilities
• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings and designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Design and develop new products, components, and parts of the system and drafting of painting and coatings systems as paint booth, Powder coating booth, shot blasting rooms, /Industrial ovens, and heavy structures.
• Supporting to design team and actively participating for project completions within time limits.
• Design of GA layout, Part modeling, and assembly.
• Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
• Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
• Planning and executing mechanical designs using Auto CAD, Solid work, software programs.
• Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
• Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
• Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics.
• Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
• Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.
